Dr. Jesse holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with specializations in somatic psychology and neuropsychology.

Over 25 years, his work has shaped some of the most recognized names in integrative mental health and wellness — among them, co-founding MentalHealth.com, where he serves as Clinical Director, and 10 years of service at both Passages Malibu and Passages Ventura.

His clinical expertise has also reached millions through four seasons of A&E’s TV show “Intervention”, bringing trauma-informed care and the possibility of healing into public consciousness.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jesse has bridged modern neuroscience, trauma-informed expertise, and ancient wisdom traditions — bringing depth, integrity, and rare breadth of experience to the field of embodied healing.

Senses is honored to announce Dr. Jesse Hanson as Clinical Advisor to our practice and immersive experiences.

Dr. Jesse holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with specializations in somatic psychology and neuropsychology.

Over 25 years, his work has shaped some of the most recognized names in integrative mental health and wellness — among them, co-founding MentalHealth.com, where he serves as Clinical Director, and 10 years of service at both Passages Malibu and Passages Ventura.

His clinical expertise has also reached millions through four seasons of A&E’s TV show “Intervention”, bringing trauma-informed care and the possibility of healing into public consciousness.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jesse has bridged modern neuroscience, trauma-informed expertise, and ancient wisdom traditions — bringing depth, integrity, and rare breadth of experience to the field of embodied healing.

Senses is honored to announce Dr. Jesse Hanson as Clinical Advisor to our practice and immersive experiences.

Dr. Jesse holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with specializations in somatic psychology and neuropsychology.

Over 25 years, his work has shaped some of the most recognized names in integrative mental health and wellness — among them, co-founding MentalHealth.com, where he serves as Clinical Director, and 10 years of service at both Passages Malibu and Passages Ventura.

His clinical expertise has also reached millions through four seasons of A&E’s TV show “Intervention”, bringing trauma-informed care and the possibility of healing into public consciousness.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jesse has bridged modern neuroscience, trauma-informed expertise, and ancient wisdom traditions — bringing depth, integrity, and rare breadth of experience to the field of embodied healing.

At Senses, his advisory role ensures that our therapeutic containers and immersive experiences are scientifically grounded, ethically held, and designed to support genuine emotional integration.

Marcela Beltrán del Río is a holistic facilitator and transpersonal guide dedicated to creating safe, embodied spaces for healing and transformation.

Certified in Breathwave Conscious Breathing 1:1, Oxygen Advantage functional breathing, and Solar Magnetism, she weaves conscious breathing, meditation, and somatic practices to support emotional balance, clarity, and inner sovereignty.

It is meditation and medicine in motion - releasing tension, strengthening health, cultivating internal energy, and showing us how to live with greater ease, vitality, and embodied presence.

Trauma often lives in the body as incomplete responses - held tension, restricted breath, frozen patterns, or habitual guarding.

While insight and understanding are important, the nervous system also needs experiences of safe movement to reorganize and restore regulation.

Trauma-informed movement supports the body in gently completing what was once interrupted.

When movement is slow, intentional and choice-based, it allows activation to shift without overwhelm, helping the nervous system distinguish between past threat and present safety.

Through embodied movement, individuals can rebuild agency, expand tolerance for sensation and emotion, and reestablish a sense of coherence within the body.

Over time, this supports emotional integration - not by forcing release, but by creating the conditions for the body to settle and integrate at its own pace.
