Gentle Morning Flow Yoga

Restorative Yoga

At Senses, we approach movement as a way to gently reconnect with the body through mindful awareness and presence.

Informed by trauma sensitive principles, our practices support the nervous system in finding safety, rhythm, and expression.

Whether through Restorative Yoga, Somatic Flow, Dance Therapy or Qigong, movement becomes a way to listen inward, soften tension, and return to embodied presence.

Senses: A Somatic Experience

Restorative Yin Yoga

A Practice of Stillness, Support & Deep Listening

Restorative yin yoga is a gentle, grounding practice that invites the body into long-held, supported postures — allowing the nervous system to settle and the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue to release over time.

Restorative yin offers a quiet space for rest and regulation — where stillness becomes the doorway to sensation, emotion, and self-awareness.

At Senses, our restorative yin sessions are trauma-informed and paced with care. Each posture is supported by props and guided by breath, allowing your body to soften at its own rhythm.

It is a practice of presence — where rest becomes a form of healing.

This practice may support:

  • Nervous system down-regulation

  • Release of held tension and stress

  • Improved joint and tissue mobility

  • Emotional processing through stillness

  • A felt sense of safety and internal spaciousness

Dance Therapy

Movement as Expression, Integration, and Embodied Healing

Dance Therapy

Dance therapy is a body-based practice that invites movement to arise from within — as a way of sensing, expressing, and integrating experience.

Rather than focusing on choreography or form, this practice offers space to explore what the body is holding. Movement becomes a language — one that doesn’t require words, but speaks through impulse, rhythm, and sensation.

When we’ve experienced trauma, the body often learns to brace, freeze, or silence its own expression. Dance therapy supports the gentle unwinding of these patterns. It allows what has been held — tension, emotion, memory — to begin moving again, in a way that feels safe and supported.

At Senses, dance therapy is guided with care, curiosity, and respect for each person’s pace. It is an invitation to notice — and to follow what arises, in your own rhythm.

This practice may support:

  • Emotional expression and release

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Greater body awareness and attunement

  • Integration of past experiences

  • A felt sense of agency, creativity and connection

Senses: A Somatic Experience

Somatic Flow

Gentle movement reconnecting body, breath and inner wisdom

Somatic Flow is a slow, intentional yoga practice that focuses less on external form and more on the inner felt sense of the body.

Movements are gentle and mindful, inviting awareness into breath, sensation and the subtle language of the nervous system.

Somatic Flow offers a space to unwind habitual tension, release stored patterns, and reconnect with the body's natural rhythm of regulation and repair.

Each practice is guided by curiosity and care, making room for both movement and stillness as pathways to healing.

At Senses, our Somatic Flow sessions are trauma-informed and centered in body awareness. Each class is guided at a gentle pace, allowing you to move in a way that feels safe, supportive and authentic to your body.

This practice may support:

  • Nervous system regulation and balance

  • Release of chronic tension and holding patterns

  • Greater interoceptive awareness

  • Emotional integration through mindful movement

  • A deeper connection to vitality, presence and inner wisdom
