Senses: A Somatic Experience
Danielle — founder of Senses

About Danielle

A grounded and compassionate approach to emotional healing.

Danielle is the founder of Senses and a somatic practitioner devoted to emotional healing, nervous system care, and embodied wellbeing.

Danielle's work is devoted to emotional health, nervous system care and embodied wellbeing.

Through years of personal trauma recovery, extensive professional training, and embodied practice, she has come to understand that meaningful change often begins with learning how to listen more closely to our internal experience.

Her approach is grounded in somatic psychology and trauma-informed care, guided by a deep respect for the body's innate capacity for healing.

At the heart of her work is a belief that true wellness begins with the emotional body, and that a deeper relationship with our emotional experience can support healing, integration, and a greater sense of wellbeing.

Her approach

Healing through the body, nervous system, and emotional experience.

Danielle's approach is grounded in the understanding that emotional experiences are not held in the mind alone. They are reflected throughout the body and nervous system.

Experiences of trauma, chronic stress, relational pain, and adversity can influence the ways we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Over time, these experiences may shape patterns that affect emotional wellbeing, connection, and overall quality of life.

Drawing from somatic psychology, embodiment practices, and trauma-informed care, Danielle supports individuals in developing a deeper awareness of these experiences through the body.

Through somatic therapy, movement, breathwork, and relational healing, space is created for emotional integration, meaningful connection, and a greater capacity to engage with life from a place of presence and awareness.

Her work is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative, with deep respect for each person's lived experience, emotional capacity, and unique process.

Sessions are approached with intention and sensitivity, creating space for individuals to feel supported as they explore their inner experience with greater honesty, awareness, and self-compassion.

The heart of the work

Creating spaces where people feel safe enough to reconnect to themselves.

Many of the individuals Danielle works with are highly capable and deeply self-aware, yet find themselves feeling emotionally exhausted and disconnected.

Her work offers a slower and more intentional approach to healing. One that values emotional honesty, embodied awareness, and nervous system safety over performance or quick transformation.

Through private sessions, immersive experiences, and group work, Danielle creates spaces that feel grounded, relational, and deeply supportive of each person's individual process.

Her approach is guided by compassion, integrity, and respect for the body's natural pace of healing and integration.

The vision behind Senses

The vision behind Senses.

Senses was created as a practice devoted to emotional wellbeing, embodied healing, and nervous system care.

What began as intimate therapeutic work has continued evolving into a broader vision for emotionally intelligent and trauma-informed healing experiences rooted in somatic psychology, embodiment, and relational care.

Danielle's long-term intention for Senses is to create spaces that support deeper restoration, meaningful connection, and a more grounded approach to wellbeing through therapy, immersive retreats, movement, and collaborative experiences.

Future plans include the development of a retreat sanctuary in Todos Santos designed to offer restorative and thoughtfully curated environments for healing, reflection, and embodied living.
